We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join Clearstream Fund Services’ (CFS) Finance & GRC department specializing in Cost Management. In this critical role you will support the Management of the CFS in development, monitoring and reporting of the costs and adherence to the targets.

 

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • Maintain and enhance financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making
  • Actively manage budget process and maintenance, including organizing shifts to and from other areas
  • Utilize SAP and other tools to streamline financial processes and ensure prompt and accurate financial reporting
  • Conduct detailed analyses actively propose measures to increase efficiency within the CFS area
  • Work closely with colleagues in other departments to understand and maintain intercompany costs and the respective allocation keys
  • Prepare regular reporting on costs and explain deviations to budgets to senior management
  • Grow understanding of different types of costs: change v. BAU; standard v. volume-related v. capitalizable costs and the correct way to treat compared to targets
  • Support the annual business planning / budget setting process
  • Work together with auditors to explain the long term business plan and underlying rationale
  • Provide transparency for both the CFS area and also legal entities within CFS, especially Clearstream Fund Centre SA (Luxembourg)
  • Bring a positive attitude and a can-do approach to an international team

 

Your profile

 

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a quantitative subject (e.g., Finance, Economics, Statistics)
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in finance, ideally with experience in cost management
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP (FI, CO, BW); S4 Hana is an asset
  • Competent at handling MS Office applications, especially strong with excel. PowerBI knowledge would be an asset
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate financial concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-motivated with an independent and structured approach
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
