UI/UX Designer - GUI/Application Design (f/m/d)

Your area of work:

You will contribute to the Deutsche Börse Group overall strategy of modernization of the IT landscape and development of services based on state-of-the-art technologies.

You will be part of the regular IT project lifecycle, supporting the development of new Client Data Services based on Cloud technologies. Your main tasks will be the design of graphical user interfaces and user experience workflows in close cooperation with the business users.

You will work in an international team environment (Prague/Frankfurt/Luxemburg), which enables integration of functional and technical requirements and improvements in a fast-changing environment. You will acquire insights into financial market products and processes.

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join the API Architecture / Marketplace Development team in Prague.

Your responsibilities:

• Gather existing user experience, translate it into real user interaction ideas and help to improve information architecture
• Create and research customer personas from existing and potential pool of stakeholders
• Solution design in short-feedback cycles using requirements and feedback from representative user groups
• Develop end-to-end user journey maps and future state design maps, prototypes and user flows
• Create concepts and visualizations of information through structured tools like storyboards, user stories, flowcharts, site maps, wireframes and low and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Help to inform in decision making process & design around user experience for applications supporting wider DBAG
• Close collaboration with a big variety of stakeholders: regular presentation of the proposed solutions to a wider audience

Your profile:

• University degree (or comparable qualification) with financial focus
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• 5+ years of work experience on a similar position
• Very good experience working with Figma as a UI/UX Design tool
• Team worker with good communication skills, used to work in international environments, cross countries
• You own strong social and methodological skills
• A result-oriented working method in a team is self-evident for you

• Analytical skills, intercultural competence and a hands-on mentality round off your profile

• Good presentation skills

Following experience is a plus:

• Experience in Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban
• You have experience in the finance industry and financial markets
• Technical background in CSS, HTLS, JavaScript, Typescript, React
