Your area of work: 

The Project & Release Management Unit is responsible for:

  • Release Management - Planning and management of the implementation framework
  • CSS project management – Management of the CSS projects portfolio
  • Project reporting to the Boards and Committees through the CPMO team.

 

Role description:

  • The Overall Test Manager (OTM) is one of the key persons within a release. His responsibility is to secure testing across the projects with good coherence and respect of the various dependencies. Together with the Release Manager she/he is also one of the main point of contact for the Project Managers,functional team leads and Business coordination team involved in a Release
  • She/he is responsible for follow-up of defect tickets, upload and consistency of FACs (test cases), tracking progress of testing completion, ensuring that IT changes are successfully tested and implemented
  • She/he also is in charge of the Release testing documentation (e.g. test approaches, testing progress reports, Closedown reports)
  • Preside over DTM (Daily Testers Meeting) and share meeting summary with DTM participants

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Track testing progress against testing plan: check execution status and functional test cases (FACs) progress with functional analysts (i.e., understand the reasons of delayed FACs, agree on catch-up actions for such FACs, resolve blocking points etc.)
  • Monitor FACs preparation for accepted CRs (i.e., Change Requests) in the release
  • Request and chase feedback from development teams for blocking items
  • Preside over the daily testing meetings
  • Clarify functional analyst questions
  • Monitor and chase functional re-testing of installed defect tickets
  • Escalate to Release Manager or Project Manager major blocking issues that can create risks on release or project
  • Support Business coordinators team when necessary
  • Review and sign-off Business testing documentation
  • Review External Test Approach, when applicable
  • Involvement in the Transition testing for functional testers tasks

 

Your Profile

  • 2-3 years of work experience in testing
  • Experience with role Test Leader min. 1 year
  • Familiarity in test best practices and testing tools
  • Knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques
  • Manage one or more cross-functional projects of medium complexity
  • Ability to analyze and take quick decisions
  • Ability to coordinate teams including colleagues in several locations
  • Proximity with AI is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English required
