Location: Prague
Your responsibilities:
- Collaborate with developers and analysts to understand new product features and define meaningful test scenarios.
- Design and execute functional test cases, both manual and automated.
- Develop new and automate existing test cases.
- Ensure compliance with product testing standards.
- Participate in code reviews with focus on testability.
- Ensure test coverage aligns with business-critical workflows and trading scenarios.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.
- Document test results clearly and contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to team discussions with a quality-first mindset.
Your profile:
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and agile methodologies.
- Passion for software quality, ownership, and continuous learning.
- Ability to write or understand tests written in Java or Kotlin.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Cucumber, kotlin.test).
- Ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential risks or gaps.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in English.
Nice to have:
- Exposure to tools like GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, Grafana, Kibana.
- Knowledge of event streaming and messaging systems (e.g., Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Experience with build tools (e.g., Gradle, Maven).
