Your area of work:

The PTIT Operations & Governance department is mainly responsible for the provisioning of monitoring and support services to the Core IT Operations applications. The PaaS OS & VM unit team ensures the management of Servers and Third-Party Software Infrastructure (in particular Linux operating systems, VMWare and Cloud environments, Scheduling and central monitoring tool activities); the management of the Data Infrastructure across Oracle databases, the management of the Connectivity to SWIFT and via MQ and the infrastructure process support (Capacity Planning, Disaster Recovery, Asset Management, etc.).

 

Your responsibilities:

The purpose of the job is to implement, integrate and maintain Monitoring and Scheduling infrastructure ensuring quality cost-effective services and to provide effective and efficient problem resolution in order to achieve the highest levels of availability, reliability and performance.

  • BMC TrueSight Operations Management (TSOM/Helix) infrastructure administration
  • BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization infrastructure administration
  • Broadcom Automic Automation (UC4) infrastructure administration
  • Support other teams for the implementation of Application and System monitoring
  • Perform capacity planning analysis and recommendations
  • Analyse system problems and resolution
  • Prepare and maintain documentation
  • Performance monitoring and reporting
  • Integrate processes in Jira workflow
  • Raise and follow-up calls with providers whenever required
  • Comply with audit and security requirements
  • Operation includes on-call duty distributed among the team (an average of 1-2 shifts incl. on-call duty per month expected)

 

Your profile:

  • University degree in Computer Science (or equivalent through business experience)
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant technical discipline
  • Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux administration and shell scripting
  • Knowledge and experience with Monitoring system (BMC TrueSight) and Scheduling infrastructure (Broadcom Automic - UC4)
  • Ability to work in sensitive production environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication, team player
  • Highly motivated, organized individual able to work effectively with minimal supervision,
  • Flexibility in work hours (24x7 means night and weekend installations and test operations)
