Deutsche Börse Group is one of the largest exchange organizations worldwide. Information Technology designs, builds and operates the technological infrastructure of the company. These highly integrated and automated IT systems are essential to our success. The Settlement department is responsible of real-time banking applications in the post-trade processing area of Clearstream/DBAG

You will join the Regulatory Reporting DEV&FA Team to support various aspects of software development. The Unit is responsible for developing /maintaining an efficient application landscape based on “state of the art technology” via which high data volumes can be processed efficiently and dynamically to ensure that reporting towards relevant Regulators can be covered adequately.   

The team covers all parts of the development chain, i.e. the functional and technical designs as well as development, system test and transition activities.
Furthermore the central role of Regulatory Reporting within the company requires close interaction with various other stakeholder groups being part of the relevant end to end processing chains.

Your responsibilities:

• • Design, develop, and maintain as member of the team server-side applications using Java and related frameworks.
  • Develop high quality code that adheres to industry best practices.
  • Assist in architectural design and development planning.
  • Ensure that the application design is meets IT security design and standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure consistent processes and delivery in time.

Your profile:

• • Knowledge on Google cloud platform (GCP)
  • Experience with hands-on Java development, with a strong track record in enterprise solutions using Spring framework.
  • Solid understanding of Java programming language and object-oriented principles.
  • Sound Knowledge in REST API’s, web services, JPA, SQL, XML and code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Experience regarding CI / CD tools and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Hands-on experience in writing test cases – Junit, Selenium or similar.
  • Knowledge regarding security standards, cross platform compatibility.
