Student - Data Analysis (f/m/d)

Field of activity

As a Student – Data Analysis (f/m/d) you will support the team in the Data Management department in the development of innovative data products and analytical solutions.

Tasks/responsibilities

• You will use data analytics and business intelligence (BI) tools to build new data products and analytical solutions according to business requirements.
• You will work with various data sources, including big data tools (e.g. Azure Databricks) and cloud technologies, to create datasets from multiple data sources.
• You will work with different stakeholders under the guidance of an experienced supervisor.
• You will have regular discussions with the team and present your solutions and findings.
• You will gain experience in developing a deep understanding of a data product and significantly contributing to its development.
  
  

 Qualifications/required skills

• You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least 2 semesters. Study focus in the field of Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, Management or any other relevant quantitative field.
• Ideally, you have already gained practical experience in conducting quantitative analysis (e.g. experience abroad, internships) and are interested in financial data.
• You have experience with and knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as PowerBI.
• You can understand technical information quickly, derive insights and devise solutions. You have an independent and responsible way of working with attention to detail and agile communication and possess a passion to learn.
• You have knowledge of SQL and Python (pandas, scikit-learn) or other programming languages.
• You are proficient in written and spoken English.
