We are developing containerized applications on Linux (Ubuntu) machines in Java, Kotlin and Go to be deployed in the OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters. Code changes are tracked in Jira and versioned in Github, build process is running in CircleCI and GitHub Actions. 

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Design, develop test, deploy maintain and improve various applications in agile environment – with focus on backend development
  • Update and maintain automated, highly available infrastructure and tooling when needed
  • Understand needs of business and translate them into working code
  • Manage your own project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Collaborate with team members and project stakeholders


You should possess and demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:

  • Programming competency in Java, Kotlin, Go, or any similar programming language (one is enough), or competency in JavaScript/REACT
  • Knowledge of Linux system (user level)
  • Familiarity with SQL databases (ORACLE, MySQL, Postgres)
  • A degree in Computer Science, Math or Engineering or equivalent experience 
  • Interest and ability to learn, collaborative working style
  • Good written and spoken English skills


Preferred skills/qualifications – the following skills would be a plus:

  • Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift
  • Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar) 
  • An interest or background in mathematics, financial markets, or risk management

Additionally, you need to be a team player with a sense of humour, good communication and collaboration skills, motivated, and flexible.
