Field of Activity


New Issues International plays a key role in the securities lifecycle at Clearstream. The team is responsible for an accurate and timely setup of international securities. The securities are accepted based on data provided by various market participants and are checked against Clearstream eligibility requirements prior to opening them in the Clearstream database. Once the final Terms & Conditions are received, the reference data are reviewed, focusing on data accuracy and coverage, to enable subsequent first class service delivery to internal data consumers and ultimately to Clearstream customers.



Main Tasks & Responsibilities


  • Creation/acceptance of common codes and ISIN codes for all Clearstream eligible instruments on International markets.
  • Monitoring of inboxes, handling of various internal and external queries and close cooperation with other New Issues, Income and Corporate Event teams in Prague, Singapore, Luxembourg, Frankfurt, London.
  • Analysing the T&C of each issue.
  • Ensure timely data enrichment of Clearstream‘s Securities Of Interest (SOI) – correct set up reference data and predictable Income & Corporate Action events.
  • Liaising with international depositories and various agents.
  • Chasing of missing/unclear information from market participants.
  • Daily handling of incomplete/rejected instructions, fungibilities and back valuation processes.
  • Answering of all Customer Service queries related to New Issues & Reference Data.
  • Close cooperation with ICE as our external service provider, incl. quality monitoring.
  • Reconciliation of Record Dates with Euroclear.
  • In addition the job consists of:
    • Participating to further development of future phases of services and in specific projects.
    • Preparing statistics and reports for management.
    • Testing of new functionalities.
    • Training other staff, units.


Qualification & Skills


  • University degree is an advantage.
  • Good analytical skills and care for detail.
  • Experience in Back Office is considered as an asset.
  • Good communication skills: both oral and written.
  • Willingness to learn, dedication, team work, flexibility.
  • Very good written and spoken English.
