Your area of work
Reporting & Data Quality Management unit plays an integral role in the preparation and submission of comprehensive management and regulatory risk reports, monitoring, mitigation and reporting of various risks for Eurex Clearing AG. Besides that, the unit strives to improve data quality standards to further strengthen risk management processes.

As part of the Reporting & Data Quality Management team, you will contribute significantly to advancing methodologies for monitoring and reporting the risks, particularly in the areas of Credit, Concentration and Wrong-Way risks and Credit Stress Testing. Your responsibilities will include, among others, conducting risk assessments, performing in-depth data analyses to critically evaluate risk limit utilizations, and preparing regular and ad-hoc risk reports for management and regulatory authorities.

 

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Perform regular risk monitoring, mitigation and reporting tasks for Credit, Concentration, Wrong Way Risks (CCWWR) and Credit Stress Testing
  • Oversee the creation of comprehensive risk management reports for regulatory authorities
  • Prepare regular management reports and decision-making proposals for the boards and committees of Eurex Clearing
  • Design and improve risk reporting tools using self-service functionalities and drive automatization of existing processes
  • Support model users with deep dive analysis of data anomalies
  • Develop data quality standards for the department and improve resilience of existing or future processes
  • Specify new requirements and changes to risk management reports to further improve customer transparency
  • Foster and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

 

 

Your profile:

  • A graduate degree in economics, finance, mathematics, physics, financial engineering, computer science or any other comparable field
  • 2–3 years of professional experience in a quantitative financial environment, ideally related to risk management
  • A solid understanding of financial markets and the regulatory landscape, along with proficiency in financial risk models (e.g., stress testing, CCWWR, risk indicators)
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a results-driven mindset and effective communication abilities
  • A proactive and efficient team player with strong organizational independence
  • Expertise in MS Office applications, with programming skills in financial industry-relevant software (e.g., SQL, Python, VS Code)
  • Experience with data management, analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., MicroStrategy, Apache Zeppelin, Data Analytics Libraries) would be advantageous
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
