Your area of work:

The aim of the Corporate Purchasing function is to efficiently organise the sourcing process within the Deutsche Börse Group, and to ensure the supply of materials and services. In addition to identify potential innovation within the relationship between internal customers and the market partners and to take advantage of procurement synergies. In this, vital role you will support general purchasing in the development of internal client and external supplier relationships. You are responsible for commodity groups General purchasing including some specific items such as onboarding of supplier’s, experience in this area would be an advantage. 

 

Your responsibilities:

  • You will control the supplier onboarding and operational purchasing processes and report the results.
  • In your role, you will coordinate and develop relationship with suppliers and internal clients.
  • You will negotiate and coordinate content.
  • You will interface and support your colleagues in the department and subsidiaries of the Deutsche Börse Group and support the development and optimisation of tools, processes, standards and working methods according to the requirements of the purchasing policy.
  • You will be required to remain compliant at all times with both the purchasing manual and the purchasing policy.
  • Process and support of purchase orders in line with the purchasing manual
  • Negotiation of commercials within a deal
  • Reporting and monitoring of suppliers in our risk methods tools
  • Onboarding of suppliers in our internal onboarding system, including liaising with internal clients, suppliers, and our 2nd line of defence such as compliance and information security

 

Your profile:

  • You have several years of professional experience in purchasing.
  • You own strong project management, social and methodological skills.
  • A result-oriented working method in a team is self-evident for you.
  • Analytical skills, intercultural competence and a hands-on mentality round off your profile.
  • Your profile is rounded off by a very good application knowledge, an advantage would be experience with Ariba tools.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and German
  • Having experience in working with key stakeholders from procurement, data protection, internal audit, information security, legal, compliance teams, human resources and Demonstrating exemplary relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Developing programs for execution across large and complex organisations while supervising teams to execute against the overall strategy.
  • Collaborating with multiple stakeholders across functional and technical skill sets and having a proven ability to lead, influence, and motivate others.
