The Post Trade IT department is operating on-prem and cloud-based IT infrastructure for clearing platforms, settlements, and vault management. This also includes the management of data backup infrastructure in physical tape media libraries and Linux administration.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • SUSE / Red Hat zLinux installation, maintenance & administration on IBM mainframe systems.
  • IBM Spectrum Protect Backup server administration and backup monitoring.
  • Implement and ensuring of backup infrastructure security controls.
  • Installation and maintenance of Linux IBM tape drivers on zLinux systems
  • Backup infrastructure capacity management.
  • IBM WebSphere Application Server administrator.

 

Your profile:

  • 2+ years of experience with Red Hat or SUSE Linux administration
  • 1+ year of practical experience in IBM Spectrum Protect Backup server management
  • Experience with some mainframe touch points
  • Good communication skills
  • Being part of a very agile growing team and organisation
  • Willing to grow and tackle new IT technologies and bringing these forward within the team
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English

 

Would be an advantage experience with:

  • z/OS operating systems
  • zVM operating systems
  • Support of the IBM 3592 tape drives and tape media library management
  • IBM SKLM Encryption servers
