Kubernetes and Devops Engineer (f/m/d)

Big Data & Advanced Analytics provides infrastructure and services to enable the development of data science, analytics, and big data solutions by the businesses across the value chain served by Deutsche Börse Group. We standardize and automate processes with modern technologies and frameworks.

As a Kubernetes Service and Devops engineer, you will become an integral part of our innovative team to administer, optimize and secure our Kubernetes clusters in Azure. If you have a proven track record in creating robust, scalable cloud-native solutions and excel in a dynamic team environment, we want to hear from you.

Your responsibilities:

• Administer Kubernetes clusters, optimizing for performance, reliability, security and scalability within the Azure cloud framework.
• Lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of Kubernetes Services.
• Proficient with tools such as ArgoCD, HELM, and Kustomize, with hands-on experience and familiarity in their application and integration into deployment workflows.
• Implement stringent security protocols for container and Pod security within the Kubernetes landscape.
• Manage the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) repository (Github), enhancing content and methodologies to achieve fully automated cloud infrastructure delivery.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Git Actions or other CI/CD tools, capable of automating build, test, and deployment processes to streamline software delivery.
• Generate, iterate, and perfect technical documentation and procedural templates to advance our technology processes.

Your profile:

• At least 2 years of experience on similar position.
• Proven expertise in Kubernetes Service (AKS/GKE) and Azure/GCP cloud services (PaaS/IaaS).
• Experience in the development of automated cloud infrastructure solutions using terraform.
• Capability to establish and maintain security controls for containerized applications.
• Skilled in managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools such as Github.
• Excellent documentation skills with the ability to create clear and effective process templates.
• Strong team player willing to cooperate with colleagues across office locations and functions.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to take initiative, demonstrating leadership in a team-oriented environment.
• Very strong English language skills are a must.
