Your role as Key Account Sales is multifaceted and allows you to support your clients with the complete service range, including
- onboarding new clients,
- supporting existing clients with placement of orders,
- managing client connectivity via data feeds,
- general consulting as regards access to market data,
- contract management, including the related set of tasks and processes, and
- executing analyses regarding the above activities by means of various tools (e.g. proprietary systems and SAP) and sharing the results with product development and licensing.
Based on all the insights gained from these activities, you are also in a position to identify and materialize business opportunities.
You will be part of an extremely collaborative, highly motivated and high-performing section, where teamwork is a key requirement. You will also work closely with other teams such as Sales, Business Development, Administration and Operations.

We make data accessible for all market participants and in various formats: from authentic ultra-fast raw data to sophisticated trading analytics. The broad portfolio of reliable information from Deutsche Börse supports investment and trading decisions, managing risk, safeguarding assets and meeting increasing regulatory requirements. Market Data + Services provides financial market participants around the world with proprietary market data from Deutsche Börse Group’s Xetra and Eurex trading platforms, as well as with data from our cooperation partners such as 360T, STOXX or exchanges such as TAIFEX. We serve clients including analysts, algo traders, banks, hedge funds, asset managers, mid- and back-office professionals and vendors who all rely on high quality.
Tasks/responsibilities
- Supporting existing clients with all issues re: contract management and technical connectivity
- Identification of opportunities for sales and up-sales activities
- Sales support and onboarding of new clients both contractually and technically
- Execution of analyses
- Align with affiliated teams and stakeholders such as Sales, Operations, Licensing
- Client interaction both in-person and virtual
Qualifications/required skills
- University degree in finance/economics and/or a comparable education
- Experience of 3 to 5 years is required in at least one of the following fields: market data, banking, exchange or trading infrastructure
- Dedicated team player with excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated sense of ownership and ability to work autonomously
- Excellent perception and endurance
