As an IT Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems. Your expertise in Windows environments and cybersecurity best practices will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures across our infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and proactively respond to emerging threats. Your responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain operational effectiveness of the Privilege Access Management (PAM) Infrastructure in a Windows and Cloud based environment.
  • Participate in the design and implementation the PAM infrastructure, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of critical data.
  • Identify area of improvements and contribute to inovation by initiating and running digital transformation of the company towards new technology industry trends to existing environments and technological landscape (with for example the use of Artificial Intelligence).
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures for our environments, in alignment with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify potential weaknesses and recommend appropriate remediation measures.
  • Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and incidents to detect and respond to security breaches and unauthorized access attempts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security risks associated with new systems, applications, and technologies, and provide guidance on secure implementation.
  • Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors, and proactively propose enhancement to existing security controls.
  • Perform periodic security audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures and recommend improvements.
  • Respond to security incidents promptly, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and security partners to leverage their expertise and tools in enhancing our overall security posture.
  • Perform weekend and overnight on-call support (if required).

 

Your profile:

 

  • A degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline or at least 3 years’ relevant experience in a large-scale online technical operations environment
  • At least 4 years of experience in the management of Windows
  • An experience in the design, engineering and deployment of CyberArk Privileged Access Management would be a plus point (but is not a mandatory criteria)
  • An operational experience of a scripting language ( e.g. PowerShell, Python, Bash ) or in the management of Linux or containerized environments would be a plus point
  • Creative thinker and analytical problem-solver with ability to work under time pressure
  • Very good grasp of cybersecurity concepts (certifications such CISSP, CISA, SANS would be a plus)
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
