Strategic IT Partner Management is responsible for managing relationships with strategic suppliers within the CIO/COO area. This includes Professional Service Providers, as well as Hardware, Software, and Cloud Service Providers for Deutsche Börse Group. We act as strategic advisors, driving supplier selection, contract structuring, and project execution to ensure value creation and compliance. We support decision-making through clear, data-driven presentations tailored to stakeholders. As an IT Partner Manager, you will be responsible for managing IT supplier relationships and overseeing contracts and license agreements. You will serve as an interface between IT departments, central purchasing, and external partners, managing end-to-end procurement processes. You will structure and lead strategic sourcing projects, advise stakeholders on sourcing strategies, and effectively communicate project progress and supplier performance to senior management. - Manage end-to-end sourcing projects with Corporate Central Functions and IT, from requirements definition and RfP execution to supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract finalization with DBGs strategic partners for Software, Hardware, Professional Services
- Actively manage contracts and engagements with DBG’s strategic partners for Software, Hardware, and Professional Services and process contract according to DBG standards
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure contract compliance with financial market regulations and internal governance standards
- Ensure all sourcing agreements meet regulatory requirements (e.g., risk assessments, outsourcing documentation, EBA and DORA annexes) and maintain centralized documentation
- Identify and implement sourcing improvements, including automation, cost efficiency, and process optimization
- Management of External Service Providers: Manage the full lifecycle of external Service Providers (SPs) in the PTIT Area, including onboarding, extensions, compliance, and offboarding; Ensure contractual adherence, risk mitigation, and alignment with business objectives; Act as primary contact for vendors, stakeholders, cross functional teams and maintain strong relationship
Your profile:
- Strong academic track record with a degree in information technology, economics, business administration or a relevant field
- Experience (2-3 years) in Purchasing, Partner Management, or related sourcing roles is beneficial
- Independent way of working, a high sense of end-to-end responsibility and operational excellence in task delivery and result orientation
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex sourcing challenges, develop actionable solutions, and support strategic and data-driven decision-making
- Customer-oriented and solution-driven working methods
Excellent knowledge of English in speaking and writing
