Shape the future of technology resilience at the core of Europe’s leading financial market infrastructure. As an IT Governance Specialist within IT Governance, Risk & Transformation (IT-GRT), you will join the CIO/COO division to turn strategic technology guardrails into daily operational reality. Under our department motto—safeguard, enable and optimize—you will directly support the Unit Head in establishing the new IT Risk & Information Domain ecosystem. This is a high-visibility opportunity to bridge regulatory demands, modern digital platforms, and executive decision-making.

 

 

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Operationalize the next-generation IT Risk Framework and maintain the overarching IT process landscape and Internal Control System (ICS).
  • Drive IT risk management within our new Information Domain model, mapping ICT asset relationships and calculating aggregated technology risk.
  • Synthesize risk metrics, key indicators, and forward-looking mitigation proposals into compelling presentations for senior and executive audiences.
  • Work closely with the Unit Head and IT stakeholders to continually mature risk governance across cloud, AI, and enterprise applications.
  • Align IT practices and controls with evolving supervisory standards to safeguard critical financial market services.

 

 

Your profile:

 

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in IT Governance, IT Risk Management, or IT Audit/Compliance.
  • Strong familiarity with regulatory and supervisory frameworks in finance, with particular focus on DORA.
  • Practical understanding of IT risk management methodologies and internal control mechanisms.
  • Industry certifications such as CRISC, CGEIT, CISM, or equivalent are a strong advantage.
  • Enthusiasm for emerging tech (Cloud, AI) and a practical affinity for data analytics to drive risk insights.
  • Proactive, hands-on mindset with excellent English communication skills (German is a plus).
