Your area of work:

The PTIT Operations & Governance department is mainly responsible for the provisioning of monitoring and support services to the Core IT Operations applications.

The PaaS Middleware team ensures that MQ systems (Linux, z/OS, Cloud environments) and services are fully operational and being utilized effectively and efficiently.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • MQ system administration Linux, Mainframe
  • MQ container deployments in OpenShift
  • Maintain MQ configurations in GitHub
  • Shifts
  • On-Call

 

Your profile:

  • University degree in Computer Science (or equivalent through business experience)
  • 3+ years’ experience with MQ
  • 2+ years’ experience with Linux (RedHat) systems
  • Scripting experience (Bash, Perl, Python)
  • Problem troubleshooting and solving ability
  • Ability and willingness to work on an on-call rotating schedule
  • Ability to network and partner with business applications and technical teams
  • Team player with good communication skills, highly motivated and flexible
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English

 

Would be an advantage:

  • Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of technology: GCP, Github, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Artifactory, Kibana
  • KAFKA knowledge
  • Basic IP network knowledge
  • Experience with z/OS systems
  • GO language knowledge
