HR Generalist - Germany (Based in Prague)

Your area of work:

As an HR Generalist in our Prague office, you will be a key contributor to the employee experience for our colleagues in Germany. You will act as a reliable and knowledgeable point of contact for employees, focusing on providing clear guidance on topics like benefits, maternity/parental leave, and other employee inquiries. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your professional HR experience in a dynamic, international setting. You will collaborate with colleagues across various locations and actively support HR projects, contributing your business perspective to our digital transformation and continuous process improvement efforts.

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle for employees in Germany, including onboarding, contract management, personnel data administration, and offboarding processes.
  • Provide clear and reliable guidance on benefits administration, maternity/parental leave, and other employee-related inquiries.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee records in our HR systems (including SAP SuccessFactors and S4Hana).
  • Administer HR processes in compliance with German labor law and social security regulations.
  • Support pre- and post-payroll activities, coordinating effectively with payroll specialists for the German payroll.
  • Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, payroll colleagues, and other functional teams to provide excellent service to our employees in Germany.
  • Support the setup and transition of HR processes and systems related to German employees.
  • Actively contribute to the development and implementation of global HR initiatives and digital solutions from a professional business standpoint.
  • Work on the continuous improvement and development of operational procedures relating to HR support for German employees.

Your profile:

  • A university degree in a relevant field (such as Human Resources or Business Administration), or a comparable qualification through vocational/commercial training with further education in HR.
  • Relevant professional experience in HR administration or generalist role is required, as we highly value practical expertise.
  • Solid knowledge of German labor law and social security principles is highly advantageous.
  • You are proficient in using common HR information systems (ideally SAP SuccessFactors/ SAP S4HANA) and master the MS Office suite.
  • A digital mindset with the ability to adapt well to changing environments.
  • Strong teamwork, flexibility, creativity, analytical thinking, self-responsibility, resilience, and reliability.
  • High commitment, motivation, and a pronounced customer orientation.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English and German. Fluency in German is essential for this role.
