Your area of work:

The CLLS (Collateral, Lending and Liquidity Solutions) area is responsible for software analysis and development for Clearstream Luxembourg, the leading international central securities depository and Clearstream Banking Frankfurt AG, the leading central depository in Europe. The application landscape supports the business lines for Lending Operations and Collateral Management. 

 

As a Functional Analyst in our team you will work in an agile environment and participate in the whole project lifecycle from requirements specification, technical design and implementation to going live and maintenance.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Gather, review and analyse business requirements with all relevant stakeholders within CLLS and also other product areas
  • Be part of a Scrum Team translating business requirements into user stories and actively supporting functional issue resolution during all project phases
  • Produce, document, perform and validate test cases mainly using automation tools
  • Be the single point of contact for a specific project for both the Product Owner and developers
  • Be able to work with agile methodologies during all stages of project lifecycle
  • Report on regular basis to the line management and project leads

 

Your profile:

  • Work experience as functional analyst
  • Experience with functional analysis and writing of requirements
  • Experience with defining test cases and conducting testing
  • Ability to work across several development streams
  • Ability to work in a cross-location international team
  • Ability to meet challenging project deadlines and deliver in a fast moving and change oriented environment
  • Team player with a pro-active attitude and excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new methods and tools
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English

 

Would be an advantage:

  • Experience with Agile development methodology
  • Practical experience with SQL (Oracle) databases
  • Experience with test automation tools
  • Experience with writing tools, scripts or macros to extract, prepare or process data
  • Knowledge in securities financing
  • A background in financial markets, clearing or banking
