Functional Analyst (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and user stories.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and testers to ensure requirements are well‑understood and aligned across teams.
- Validate that delivered solutions meet functional and business objectives.
- Create, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Perform manual testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira, and follow up with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Support UAT by preparing scenarios, coordinating with business users, and providing required documentation.
- Ensure proper traceability from requirements to test coverage.
Your profile:
- 3+ years of combined experience in Quality Assurance and Functional Analyst roles.
- Ability to create clear functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and test documentation.
- Experience with test management and defect‑tracking tools such as Jira, XRay, or similar.
- SQL (Working Knowledge): Able to write basic to intermediate queries for data validation and backend checks.
- API Testing: Experience using tools such as Postman or Swagger for testing interfaces and integrations.
- JSON/XML: Ability to interpret and validate structured data for integrations and API responses.
- Understanding of system interactions: Ability to read and interpret data flows, interface behaviours, and dependencies.
- Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA testing methodologies.
- Version Control Awareness: Basic understanding of Git (e.g., reviewing changes, understanding branches).
- Experience in financial services or other regulated environments.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, able to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks and collaborative team environments.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
