Frontend Software Engineer - Trading Platform (f/m/d)

As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will join the P7 Pricing Engine team, working on one of our strategic trading platforms that supports global financial markets. You will help build the next generation of high-performance user interfaces, transforming complex real-time market data into intuitive and impactful user experiences.

Working with modern technologies such as React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Google Cloud Platform, you will collaborate with experienced engineers across Prague and Germany to solve challenging technical problems in an international, innovation-driven environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain modern frontend applications that process and visualize real-time trading data
• Build scalable, high-performance user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture principles
• Create reusable UI components and actively contribute to architectural decisions and engineering best practices
• Integrate frontend solutions with backend services and APIs to deliver seamless end-to-end functionality
• Work across the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through implementation, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product experts, and stakeholders across multiple international locations
• Drive code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Gain deep domain knowledge of electronic trading platforms while solving challenging problems related to performance, scalability, and user experience

Your profile:

• 5+ years of professional experience developing frontend applications with React and TypeScript
• Strong expertise in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and contemporary frontend development practices
• Experience working with Node.js and frontend ecosystems such as MUI, Zustand, or similar technologies
• Proven ability to build data-intensive applications, dashboards, visualizations, or complex user interfaces
• Familiarity with tools such as AG Grid, Highcharts, Plotly.js, or equivalent visualization frameworks is a plus
• Experience with real-time communication technologies such as Socket.io is an advantage
• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex technical challenges
• Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively within distributed international teams
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Exposure to financial markets, exchange systems, or trading applications is beneficial but not required
