The Digital Issuer CSD Operations team is considered the "gateway to collective safe custody" for Clearstream Europe (CEU), fulfilling its function as a securities clearing and deposit bank, and German central securities depository. Based in Prague, the PSB team works closely with authorized financial intermediaries. In this context, you will join a dedicated and experienced team of professionals.
The team independently manages the eligibility of new digital security issues within Clearstream, guiding primary market players to meet our standard requirements. As a Digital Securities Administrator, you will help define, digitize, and test new processes for digital securities in close collaboration with the D7 eShares project team.
Your responsibilities
- Manage the admission of German shares into the market through the eMission or D7 platform for digital securities.
- Monitor the asset lifecycle, including corporate actions, securities administration events, and settlement.
- Analyze and interpret the Terms and Conditions of each financial issue.
- Supervise the automated admission of digitally issued securities provided to Clearstream by issuers or settlement agents and efficiently handle system exceptions.
- Resolve complex customer queries independently, professionally, and in a timely manner, covering eligibility related to compliance, corporate actions, income, tax events, legal matters, and settlement.
- Ensure full compliance with effective internal controls, policies, and operational procedures.
- Execute user testing on new interfaces and IT environments to support and increase the efficiency of evolving systems.
Your profile
- Education: High school education required; a University degree in a relevant field or comparable banking experience is an advantage.
- Mindset: Proactive, willing to take ownership, demonstrate initiative, and driven to continuously learn and develop.
- Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English and German (excellent German is required, as legal and operational documents are written in German).
- Technical Skills: Competent in MS Office applications; hands-on experience with the JIRA ticketing tool and AI tools is highly desirable.
- Industry Knowledge: A strong interest in financial and capital markets; a solid understanding of financial instruments is a distinct advantage.
- Project Experience: Prior experience participating in operational roles or digitalization projects within the capital markets area is a plus.
