Date: 25 Nov 2025

Location: Prague, CZ

Company: Deutsche Börse Group

Your area of work

Eurex Clearing AG is one of the world’s leading central counterparties (CCPs), safeguarding market integrity while driving innovation in risk management, clearing technology, and client asset protection. We provide fully automated post-trade services for derivatives, securities, and secured funding & financing, and operate industry-leading risk management technologies. Eurex Clearing AG is part of Deutsche Börse Group.

The Collateral & Repo Clearing Design unit within the Section Securities and Collateral Clearing Design is responsible for the functional design of the Collateral Management System, clearing services for the repo market, and the eligibility framework for securities collateral. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented colleague who combines AI expertise with a strong understanding of securities reference data and data-driven product design.

What you will do:

  • Analyze and optimize workflows: Identify how existing processes can be improved, partially automated, or replaced using AI; translate business questions into data‑driven analyses and communicate results clearly to stakeholders.
  • Leverage our data landscape: Use Data Lake and Data Mesh principles to enable process improvements, strategic and tactical reporting, and decision-ready dashboards (e.g., in Power BI) for leaders and colleagues.
  • Contribute to a legacy migration: Support the migration of a securities master‑data–based legacy application to a modern data platform, applying Data Mesh concepts from target architecture to implementation in close partnership with IT and business teams.
  • Design AI solutions: Bring LLMs, AI workflows, and AI agents into robust, maintainable solutions; define suitable automation and integration patterns (including API-based integrations).
  • Evolve functional designs: Specify, prioritize, and support features for applications handling securities reference data, aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Safeguard quality: Ensure data integrity and consistency; maintain clear documentation (user stories, functional/technical specs, and test cases) and contribute to QA, testing, and release management.

What you bring:

  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field – or comparable qualification – with several years of relevant experience in Data Management, Data Analytics, Data Governance or similar
  • Solid grasp of AI concepts (machine learning, deep learning, generative AI/LLMs) and hands-on experience with AI-driven tools; awareness of AI governance, risk, and regulatory compliance
  • Proven experience with data management & cataloguing, including data lifecycle management, data modeling, metadata management, data architecture principles, and data quality management
  • Proficiency working with large, complex datasets (structured and unstructured)
  • Knowledge of database systems, data modeling, and integration patterns (e.g., APIs).
  • Strong analytical skills to extract insights and support decision-making; practical expertise in Python and SQL, plus Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Databricks)
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills; analytical, solution-oriented, efficient, and reliable working style

Financial markets know-how: solid understanding of financial instruments, especially securities and their master data attributes; familiarity with clearing and settlement processes is a plus.

  • Fluent English (written and spoken); German is an advantage.

If you are excited about combining functional design with modern data and AI practices to create measurable value for clients and internal stakeholders, we look forward to your application.
