Application Operations team runs the application portfolio of Corporate IT – from rollout into production, modifications, support and stable operations, to decommissioning. This includes adherence to our control framework (e.g. ISO 27000 Information Security Framework), bugfixing, standard operations procedures, and continuous improvement. The team has a client-oriented role, advises internal customers and works closely with other technical or infrastructure teams on resolving any existing issues.

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for supporting projects used for automation. This includes mainly operations and setup of new projects for Mendix Studio Pro and BluePrism robot platform.



  • Actively support existing automation processes and collaborate on new projects
  • Support low-code systems developed in Mendix Studio Pro
  • Monitor and optimize Mendix programs as well as robot processes in BluePrism
  • Establish and ensure compliance with IT Security and regulatory requirements, including creation of documentation
  • Support applications development efforts and innovation
  • Work with various tools based on demand


Qualifications/required skills

  • Experience working with Linux/Unix and databases, knowledge of scripting (Unix Shell Scripts, Perl, Python etc.)
  • Experience with system monitoring and event analysis
  • Knowledge in the field of networks
  • Experience using Git, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker
  • Knowledge of Mendix Studio Pro (or other similar Low-Code systems) is preferred
  • Knowledge in Architecture, Designing and Developing RPA solutions is preferred
  • Experience with at least one high-level programming language (Java, C++) is desirable
  • Willingness to learn deep technical skills and apply them to the business process
  • University Degree in IT Studies, Natural Science or comparable education
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
