Your area of work

Our unit is part of Global Securities Financing (GSF) operations family and provides different collateral management services to our clients such as collateral pledge to Bundesbank or GC Pooling, as our flagship products.

 

To further improve excellency of CSD and ICSD service offering within Clearstream’s Global Liquidity Hub, several system enhancements are developed regularly throughout the year. Our Business Test Analysts are responsible for testing such enhancements on behalf of all GSF operations units.

 

In your role, you will be assigned to key projects such as Collateral Mobility or ECMS. The challenging and interesting tasks you will face, will help you to further develop your soft and hard skills.

 

Our new colleague should have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with colleagues across various departments, ranging from business stakeholders to functional

analysts and developers.

 

You don’t need to have any technical testing or coding skills however, we expect you to be someone who thinks outside the box. Ideally, you should have a passion for technology coupled with a business mind-set. You must have an eye for detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the desire to identify needs of GSF Operations and our customers.

We will then teach you everything else you need in order to become a successful business acceptance tester.

 

 

Your responsibilities

  • Understand the securities lending & collateral management business
  • Analyse requirements contained in specific User Stories, create and execute test scenarios in Business Acceptance Testing environment, where development follows Agile methodology
  • Report any issues identified and create test evidence documentation
  • Frequent communication with the Scrum development, Product Management and Operational teams
  • Provide necessary readiness to the operational teams


Your profile

  • University degree in economics or finance related majors preferred or 2-3 years of relevant banking/finance experience
  • Knowledge of Securities Financing business is an advantage
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work and deliver outstanding results within deadlines independently and as a part of a team in an international environment
  • Excellent communication skills, accuracy and detail orientation
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory, French or German is an advantage
