Your area of work
As a Client Service Officer (f/m/d), you will be our clients first point of contact for queries related to Investment Fund Services, Vestima, custody, settlement, and cash queries, with the responsibility of ensuring a positive client experience. You will provide ongoing and proactive support and information to our clients via telephone and email channels. You will be in contact with our overseas offices to assist in responses to the client queries.

Clearstream's investment funds services enable banks and other investment fund distributors to move towards standardization, automation, and straight-through processing of investment fund orders. 
 
Your Responsibilities

  • You will provide first-line response and support for Clearstream Banking’s products and services
  • You will take ownership and accountability for client queries by investigating, monitoring, daily reporting and ensuring mutually satisfactory closure of queries raised by clients
  • You will also log incoming client calls and queries in proprietary system and monitor client’s day-to-day behavior to offer proactive outreach and identify patterns
  • You will assist customers and Transfer Agents with the Vestima order routing system; investigate order failures, rejections and follow up on pending trades
  • You will dandle queries related to Custody Investment Funds, including New Issues, Income Processing, and Corporate Actions
  • Furthermore, you will offer Help Desk support on regulatory, market, settlement or other changes which impact the post-trades value cycle
  • You will collaborate with Investment Funds Units based in different geographical locations, and support LATAM Relationship Management Team with client training on new services and features, KYC, and Compliance tasks

 

Your profile

  • You will have a university degree, funds or financial sector or comparable qualification
  • You will have a knowledge of international financial markets with a focus on Fund order routing & custody, securities custody & settlement, corporate actions, income processing and collateral management; ideally having work experience in such operational functions
  • You will have prior experience servicing clients in the Financial Industry - minimum 1 years’ experience in funds
  • You will have a strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • You will be proactive, accurate, highly organized, able to maintain up to date knowledge in a fast-changing environment and assume responsibility
  • You will be a strong team player in a multicultural environment with dispersed geographical service centers expertise as well as willingness to learn
  • You will have excellent telephone, communication (both oral and written), and negotiation skills, along with strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • You will be eligible to work in the US (visa, green card, or US citizen); proficiency in written English and Spanish is mandatory, with Portuguese as a differentiator

 

Salary range: 70k - 85k USD
