Your area of work:

 As part of the CLLS Securities Lending team, as Senior Product Manager, you will drive the market positioning of the Clearstream’s Securities Lending & Borrowing business by creating, developing and executing new solution offerings in line with the growth strategy of CLLS and the latest global regulatory framework.

The role requires close collaboration with internal and external business partners, agility to operate in a complex securities market landscape. The candidate shall design and enhance CLLS Securities Lending solutions to ensure delivery of financial and non-financial objectives, meeting time and quality criteria.  

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Design, drive and lead various Strategic Commercial initiatives in line with solution definition and roll-out or focus on client base expansion

  • Lead the product and client readiness incl. the internal and external stakeholder communication through various marketing channels and social media.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for the business from positioning through to sales enablement, with end-to-end responsibility to drive business results.

  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders, service providers in building the product positioning, value propositions, and messaging aligned with the client and market requirements, focusing on CLLS differentiation

  • Identify solution synergies across the DBAG group companies and manage the solution roll-out governance. Interface with the various internal stakeholders including Legal, Tax, Credit, Risk, Compliance, Accounting and Regulatory Reporting, Pricing Billing.

  • Build out the solution & service capabilities appropriately, describing the business concepts, enhancements within business requirements and impact analysis, including resource management.

  • Ensuring in-depth understanding of the risks & regulations affecting CLLS securities lending products, assessing the impacts and potential opportunities of regulations on CLLS securities lending products such as SFTR

  • Supporting the Sales & Relationship Management teams and Operations, collect feedback from internal and external stakeholders for any product ideas and development.

  • Develop and maintain knowledge about the market landscape, solutions, the client segments and the competitive environment. Support the management of the CLLS in defining product strategy. Focus on technological enhancements in the Securities Lending market such as digitalization and data is part of the role requirements

  • Run internal and external stakeholder meetings/committees and events and represent the product line at industry working groups.

 

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree, MBA preferred

  • 10+  years of experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably in securities lending product management, securities market industry

  • Sound understanding of the Capital Markets, Collateral management and Securities landscape

  • Proven ability in developing and executing comprehensive solution design and delivery strategies, including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market planning.

  • Ability to lead and drive large scale projects to completion in complex working environments and multi-stakeholder relationships

  • Proven success in driving changes and managing projects under pressure

  • Team player organized and excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Have a strong business acumen, grasp of all financials and analysis skills to identify and manage business opportunities.

  • Competent in handling of MS-Office applications in particular Excel, Access VB, SQL

  • An inclination towards leadership and taking ownership

  • Proficiency in written and oral English,

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
