Your area of work:

The Recovery and Resolution Planning Specialist is responsible for the preparation, maintenance and reporting of all relevant aspects of the recovery and resolution plans of CFCL, ensuring alignment with best market practices and regulatory requirements. Playing a key role within risk management team, this specialist is the main point of contact for the organizational units involved in the preparation of the aforementioned plans (e.g. Tresury, Credit, Compliance, etc.), coordinating them and supporting them through the preparation of the required deliverables.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development and on-going maintenance of recovery plan, ensuring implementation of best practices and regulatory compliance.

  • Coordinate and collect information from key stakeholders to update recovery plan figures and resolution assessments.

  • Periodic review and update of the governance and communication in case of recovery.

  • Preparation of stress test exercise to test the adequacy of the recovery options available for the bank.

  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in all recovery and resolution reporting activities.

  • Prepare and perform drill exercises to test the operating effectiveness of the recovery plan.

  • Monitor recovery indicators closely and escalate issues promptly to ensure timely resolution.

  • Support the competent authorities in the preparation of the resolution plan for the bank

  • Provide guidance and support to the first LoD employees and management regarding recovery and resolution planning.

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits related to recovery and resolution planning.

  • Prepare and present reports for relevant committees, ensuring adherence to defined governance structures.

  • Represent the bank in discussions with regulatory bodies, industry forums, and external partners regarding recovery and resolution planning.

Your profile:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, with a focus on recovery and resolution planning.

  • University degree in finance, Economics, Mathematics, Risk Management, or related field

  • In-depth knowledge of Luxembourg and EU laws and regulations related to recovery and resolution planning.

  • Strong understanding of local and European risk management principles and regulatory standards.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues.

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus.

  • Strong ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
