Field of activity

Quality Management & Digital Transformation initiates and facilitates sustainable improvements to increase quality and efficiency across the Area Clearstream Global Operations. Quality Management & Digital Transformation combines tailored process improvement methodologies derived from lean management, Six Sigma and customer journey management with suitable technologies like robotics process automation (RPA), smart workflows and artificial intelligence.

 

The Unit Operational Performance is responsible for supporting the Service Lines of the Area to build and maintain a high performance organisation for all operations activities worldwide within Clearstream Global Operations.

We are looking for a Lean Consultant to build a Lean organisation by conducting projects to continuously improve and standardize our processes and reduce complexity. As member of the Operational Performance team you are responsible for leading projects designed to introduce and sustain Lean Management principles for business processes of Clearstream Global Operations. You are a person that has experience with Lean and is able to drive the projects by yourself with enough momentum to make them a success in due time.

 

Tasks/responsibilities

  • Participation in lean projects as leader, team member and moderator
  • Act as an ambassador and coach for operational leadership and Lean culture
  • Analyse and optimise end-to-end business processes to identify and prioritize potential improvements
  • Define and run optimisation projects for business processes and ensure high quality and impact
  • Elaborate requirements for applications together with the business area and stakeholders
  • Follow-up defined and agreed action items
  • Report on organizational performance and efficiency (KPI conception, design and calculation)

 

Qualifications/required skills

  • University degree or equivalent in business, economics or comparable
  • Proven experience in Six Sigma/ Lean Management methodologies
  • Ability to work independently, accurately and timely
  • Experience in working in a (internal) consulting role, lean-improvement team or similar
  • Experience in conducting lean (sub-)projects
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry especially in the business of Clearstream is an asset
  • Ability to communicate effectively on different levels within the organisation
  • Good analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Solid skills in preparing and holding presentations
  • Willingness to learn new methodologies and tools
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, German would be a strong asset
