As a Cybersecurity Engineer in our section, you will be pivotal in safeguarding the security and integrity of our systems. Your expertise in Linux/Windows environments, coupled with a strong focus on cybersecurity best practices, will be essential in operating, automating and maintaining robust security measures and services across our infrastructure. A keen interest in solutions to protect cloud assets and a predominant focus on the privileged access management solutions are crucial. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will proactively respond to emerging threats, automate and improve our processes, and support both internal and external customers. Your responsibilities:
- Maintain and Run: Participate in strategic decision-making to shape the architecture and design of new security solutions. Manage asset protection suites and tools to ensure comprehensive security coverage.
- Solution Deployment: Build and implement security solutions both on-premises and in the cloud using SaaS, IaaS, and other technologies.
- Personal Development: Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors, and proactively propose enhancement to existing security controls
- Customer Support: Deliver exceptional support to internal and external users, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Monitor and Analyze Security Systems: Continuously monitor security systems and applications to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and response to security issues, including root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Security Assessments: Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks.
- Security Awareness: Promote security awareness across the organization through training and communication initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the business.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on security status, incidents, and improvements to leadership management.
- Automation: Automate and streamline processes related to the security landscape.
Your profile:
- A degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline relevant experience
- An experience of a scripting language ( e.g. PowerShell, Python) and in the management of Windows or environments would be a plus point
- Ability to support and drive technology shifts toward Cloud, AI, and automation within security operations.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication in English, active listening, and the ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate effectively, share knowledge, and work towards a common goal is essential.
- Interest in managing asset protection suites and tools to ensure comprehensive security coverage and optimal performance.
- Being able to adapt to change, learn new skills, and stay up-to-date with the latest trends is mandatory
- Creative thinker and analytical problem-solver with ability to work under time pressure
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
