The mission of Internal Audit is to enhance and protect organizational value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight.

Internal Audit is a permanent function that, as the third line of defense, delivers independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the company’s operations. It helps the company accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes. Internal Audit also provides an independent, objective and critical review of the first two lines of defense.

 

As an intern in Internal Audit, based in Luxembourg, you will support the chief auditor in his administrative and reporting tasks, and the auditors by performing document analyses and quality checks in the context of their audits.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Support the Internal Audit team.
  • Update/maintain the tools used to centralize data from various sources in different formats (Excel, Access, etc.).
  • Contribute to improving all tools and supporting material e.g., procedures and guidance used in the department
  • Support periodic reporting (e.g., data extracts, statistics generation).

 

Your profile:

  • You are currently completing your last year of Bachelor’s Degree program or enrolled in a Master’s Degree program with a recognized institution focusing on Economics, Finance or similar and can provide an internship agreement.
  • You have preferably already completed an internship in another company.
  • Organisational abilities, commitment and accuracy.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and creating reports.
  • Team player.
  • Competent in handling MS Office applications (in particular VBA, Excel, Access, Power Point, Word, etc.).
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory; any other language, in particular French and/or German, is an advantage.
