Your area of work:
As an Intern – Clearstream Credit Monitoring you will have the excellent opportunity to explore risk topics related to credit and to gain valuable practical experience in an innovative company. Within the Group Credit Management area, the Credit Monitoring team’s purpose is to monitor the overall credit risks so that developments that could jeopardize the interests of Clearstream can be identified and suitable countermeasures can be deployed. Our activity also involves ensuring compliance with the main regulations governing Credit and the specific activity of Clearstream. As an intern, you will be offered learning opportunities with interesting and challenging tasks in a diverse and dynamic team.
Your responsibilities:
- Support the identification of credit risks and breaches.
- Understand and participate in the monitoring processes (daily, weekly and monthly) and ongoing projects.
- Help improve the team’s processes, tools and the documentation.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis on credit data and propose actions in line with criticalities and priorities.
- Documents management and administrative tasks
- Research and assess the impact of new regulatory requirements, laws or circulars on the team’s activity (e.g. ESG impact)
- The tasks above could be adapted to your profile and interest.
Your profile:
- You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree program with a recognized institution and can provide an internship agreement, OR have graduated with a Bachelor's degree or similar for no more than 6 months.
- We accept diverse academic backgrounds with a predilection for finance, economics, mathematics or risk management as long as the area of research or the professional interests of the candidate connects to the above-described field of activity.
- Team player and excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently. Focus and attention to detail are required.
- Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize and to respect deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel, Power Point etc.) good command of MS Excel is a must. Knowledge of PowerBi is welcome.
- Knowledge of Credit concepts (limits, assessments, exposure, collateral), and of Clearstream’s activity.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English;
