Your area of work:

As an IT Operations Officer, you will be at the heart of our technical environment, ensuring the smooth and timely operation of our critical IT systems. Working in shifts from our Command Centre, you will be the first point of contact for production matters, playing a vital role in maintaining the availability and performance of our services.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • You will watch for the production environment, Monitor batch processing on both mainframe and distributed systems (Windows/Unix), and ensure all operations are completed within their deadlines.
  • Act as the primary contact for production incidents. You will be responsible for ticket management (creation, follow-up) and lead escalation to the appropriate support teams to ensure rapid resolution.
  • You will monitor and control all production processing, ensuring system availability and the successful execution of task jobs processing.
  • Create, update, and maintain operational documentation, procedures (SOPs), and handover guides. You will actively participate in the continuous improvement of our processes, identifying opportunities for automation and optimization.
  • Assist in maintaining our internal system management processes based on the ITIL framework, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. IT ticket creation and follow-up according the ITIL framework ensuring high adherence to SLAs.

 

Your profile:

  • You hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar IT operations, production support, or Command Centre role.
  • You have good knowledge of Windows environments and scheduling tools (e.g., UC4/Automic, BMC Truesight…). Knowledge of Unix/Linux is a strong asset.
  • You are a dedicated team player but can also work independently to meet targets development.
  • You are fluent in English and French, which are our primary working languages. German is considered a plus.
  • You are willing to work in a 24/6 shift system, requesting high adaptability and flexibility
