The Clearstream Fund Centre Digital unit (CFCD) is tasked with the delivery of a next generation client portal delivering self-service data, banking execution and order routing services for CFC customers. The portal roadmap is transforming how we deliver and operate services for our clients, leveraging the flexibility and scalability of cloud based solutions, and employing best practice in Agile and CI/CD practices.
As Head of Unit for Clearstream Fund Centre Digital, you will own the development of a growing application landscape, managing application developer and architects and interfacing with all stakeholders from product management and product owners, to platform, infrastructure, security and cloud development teams to secure the product roadmap. As the ideal candidate to head the CFCD team, you will have strong pedigree in the delivery of customer-facing or SaaS solutions, with a background in UX, leading Agile software engineering teams, or in the architecture/development space. You have a passion for technology, and a keen interest or experience in topics such as service/UX design, modern software architectures, agile practices, cloud enablement.
Your responsibilities:

Attract, Manage and Retain talent through effective leadership including professional development, distribution of duties, performance management.

Act as an application owner for various portal components, with responsibility for the delivery of secure and performant applications.

Act as a member of the extended CFC leadership team: collaborate effectively and efficiently with various enablers, and contribute to the overall technical community and knowledge sharing between teams.

Provide leadership and effective decision making to support to Product Owners and scrum teams in the continuous delivery of features.

Contribute to roadmap activities and assist with the preparation, prioritisation and planning of features and enhancements.

Secure and plan production support (L3) activities for CFCD applications
Your profile:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant discipline

At least 10 years of experience in software engineering, with demonstrable experience in technical leadership, development management, product owner or UX lead roles.

Experience in the delivery of customer-facing or SaaS solutions.

Ability to deliver to challenging project timelines, and lead teams which are set up for continuous delivery.

Experience or knowledge of cloud environments, CI/CD is an advantage.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong ability to interact with business and technical teams. French/German considered as advantage
