We are seeking a visionary and experienced leader to join Clearstream as Head of Settlement Product. In this critical role, you will be accountable for defining and driving the strategy, development, and evolution of all settlement‑related products and services. You will lead a dedicated team to innovate and continuously enhance the settlement product offering, ensuring effective and timely responses to regulatory, supervisory, and market‑driven requirements, and maintaining close, ongoing engagement with customers and key market participants.
Your responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the settlement product strategy in alignment with Clearstream Securities’ overall business objectives.
- Product Management & Development: Oversee the full product lifecycle from creation to launch, including feasibility studies, customer impact simulations, market analysis, product design, and go‑to‑market execution.
- Market Advocacy: Strengthen Clearstream’s presence in industry forums, trade associations, and market initiatives to shape market practices, influence industry developments, and represent Clearstream’s strategic interests.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing, multidisciplinary team of settlement product specialists.
- Stakeholder & Customer Engagement: Maintain intensive interaction with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to drive innovation, ensure client satisfaction, and address evolving market needs.
- Regulatory & Market Intelligence: Ensure settlement products and services respond effectively to regulatory and supervisory requirements, while monitoring industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies.
Your profile :
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven track record combining 10 years of product management experience within the financial services industry, together with prior leadership experience, including at least 5 years in people management roles.
- Strong leadership capabilities with demonstrated ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with a client‑centric and solution‑oriented mindset.
- Deep understanding of the securities services and post‑trade industry, including settlement processes, market infrastructures, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven experience in leading or co‑leading cross‑industry working groups on post‑trade settlement topics.
- Fluency in English is required; French and/or German language skills are a strong asset.
