Your area of work:
In your position as Credit Officer, you will ensure that business activities are conducted within a prudent credit risk framework that is consistent with the bank’s credit appetite and in compliance with regulatory and supervisory requirements.As part of the Credit team, you will closely work with other units (e.g., Risk Management), provide support to the management, and respond promptly to demands for credit information and advice from the business areas. You will ensure the maintenance and accuracy of critical credit and collateral data available in the various system of controls while targeting higher efficiencies in the various tasks and processes.
Additionally, you will contribute to the successful establishment of a Credit team for our newly founded entity for funds services, Clearstream Fund Center SA (CFCL). This includes the implementation of various credit functionalities within the Core Banking System, participation in meetings/workshops with different stakeholders (e.g. Product Management, Project Management, IT), and the development of Credit policies and procedures, among others.
Your responsibilities:

Active contribution to the implementation of the CFCL Credit team, encompassing the setup of new credit policies and procedures, active participation to workshops, preparation and review of business and system requirements, as well as the testing of credit relevant systems and tools.

Maintain various credit and collateral data in the systems of records. Perform accuracy checks and controls.

Monitor and report collateral concentrations, correlations, and customers’ exposures.

Contribute to the development, review and enhancement of credit policies, procedures and guidelines.

Targeting maximum efficiency, contribute to the continuous review and improvement of processes as well as to the definition, documentation, and implementation of new ones.

In close collaboration with IT, work on the maintenance, concepts/design, testing and implementation of new and existing credit tools.

Deliver insightful information in support of senior management and committee review.
Your profile:

Bachelor/master’s degree in business, economics, finance or other relevant fields.

Good knowledge of financial markets, fixed-income instruments, and investment funds.

Well-developed analytical skills, attention to detail, creativity, critical thinking, ability to identify problems and propose pragmatic solutions in a timely manner.

Good communication and presentation skills.

Highly motivated with proactive attitude.

Efficient team player with a high degree of organizational self-reliance.

Proficiency in MS Office package, including Power BI; programming knowledge (SQL, Oracle) would be an advantage.

Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory, knowledge of French and/or German would be an advantage.
