Field of activity
IT Infrastructure & Operations ensures the implementation and operation of shared technological IT infrastructure for all companies of Deutsche Börse Group (DBG). This includes the operation of a variety of applications and systems for all business units

Within IT Infrastructure & Operations department, the IT Infrastructure Tools unit supports the design of tools required to deliver IT services offered by the department to internal and external customers. In addition, it coordinates the cross-departmental tools portfolio, required to support major operational processes. 

We are now looking for engineers ro support design, specification and implementation of tools in the area of IT Asset and Software License Management tools.

  • Operate and evolve IT asset and license management tools and related integrations
  • Participate in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of the required infrastructure
  • Develop functional specifications for the implementation of a given process framework in an existing tool environment, plan and support business acceptance tests of tools
  • Ensure operational stability of the field of responsibility
  • Proactively stay up to date with all the latest technologies concerning our tools and technologies
  • Perform incident and problem management including user support and vendor communication 
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation and procedures of the environment in all aspects of its utilisation; ensure associated work in compliance with the documented procedures


Qualifications/required skills

  • Holder of a university degree in Information Technology or relevant
  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in IT infrastructure operations
  • Practical knowledge with Windows and Linux/Unix servers, VMware, Oracle database, MS SQL
  • Scripting/Programming skills (e.g. PowerShell, SQL, Regex, Python, Linux-Shell, XML)
  • Experience in implementation of Snow Software License Manager is an advantage
  • Knowledge of IT inventory tools such as SCCM/SMS, Microfocus uCMDB
  • Knowlegde in application architecture and security
  • Very good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; French/German language skills will be an asse
  • Ability to work in a team with shared responsibilities, result-oriented working method and collaboration in a team and across the IT is self-evident for you
