Field of activity

For our office in London, we are currently looking for a Product Management professional with core focus on developing product literature, content and messaging for indices on the shelf, conducting and writing tactical research showcasing use cases of existing indices under prevailing or foreseeable market conditions, product positioning, content development and messaging for client meeting, road shows, events and conferences, coordinating activities with product development, index operations, sales, and marketing to promote existing indices, adhoc index performance analysis for (prospective) clients. As this is an evolving role within an evolving function, the above description of activities is not exhaustive, and the individual is expected to be flexible to a fluid environment with potential opportunity for a broader and deeper role within the Product team depending on the individual’s appetite for growth and development.



  • Assist Sales teams in identifying products that would best address specific client objectives
  • Develop crisp messaging and tailored presentations and analytics to pitch products to specific customers
  • Create short research notes and market insights on a regular basis to present best suited products based on prevailing economic and market environment  
  • Regularly survey and assess client demand, and provide consolidated feedback across the organization, and specifically to Product Team
  • Create and maintain library of product presentations, literature, marketing material for existing and new indices
  • Calculating index statistics, carry out index analysis and performance attribution, interpret and disseminate the analysis in written and verbal form as required
  • Liaise with clients, either by email, over the phone or in person client meetings


Qualifications/required skills

  • 4-6 years of professional experience in financial industry, preferably indices business
  • Good understanding of financial markets, asset classes and client demand both on sell and buy side
  • Master’s degree from a top tier university in finance, economics or natural science
  • Sound experience in Microsoft Office (including VBA). Experience in Python would be a strong advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of working with complex databases and large data sets
  • Good knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet, Axioma and/or Reuters products
  • Ability to take full ownership of projects, take the lead and coordinating with other teams
  • Self-organized, carrying out multiple projects in parallel
  • Meticulous, analytical mindset, problem solver with an eye for detail
  • Proven ability to produce timely, high quality, and accurate work under tight deadlines
  • Experience of writing analytical research pieces, market insights and other similar notes
  • Self-motivated and committed individual who is able to work independently as well as in collaboration with others
  • Solid command of written and verbal in English; knowledge of German or French would be a strong advantage
