Your Area of Work
As an Associate Vice President, Relationship Management, you will serve customers in the Hong Kong Market. You will ensure effective communication and feedback as well as high level of service delivered to the customers. You will be responsible for prospering new business and expanding the company’s market presence in this strategically important region.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage key relationships with a number of our strategic, global relationships.
- Develop new business opportunities and protect existing revenue streams in coordination with Clearstream’s other European offices, Regional Directors, and Relationship Managers.
- Prepare and present proposals and product presentations to potential new customers.
- Initiate, establish and maintain excellent relationships with existing and prospective customers (banks and financial institutions).
- Monitor service levels, escalate and resolve potential operational problems to ensure high quality standards, handle customer enquiries on settlement and custody.
- Liaise with the product teams to promote Digital Issuance and Collateral Management.
- Keep abreast of market updates, developments, and competitors.
- Act as the first line of defence in managing client relationships, ensuring adherence to all Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and other regulatory requirements.
Your Profile:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.
- Strong understanding of KYC and AML frameworks and client onboarding.
- 6 to 8 Years experience in securities / banking business, with experience in custodian bank or securities services house preferred.
- Good knowledge of securities settlement and corporate action, ideally in both international and major domestic markets.
- Experience with institutional clients, good relationship with financial institutions, hands-on customer service experience.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, customer and service-oriented.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, teamplayer. Highly motivated and flexible.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, as well as an excellent command of spoken Cantonese and Mandarin is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel as required.
