As a working student (f/m/d) you will support the team Securities Clearing Implementation in the Clearing & Risk IT department.
Securities Clearing Implementation section is responsible for the Design, Development and support for the C7 SCS application. This application is responsible for providing the clearing services to Cash Market and Repo Market transactions. The application is based on microservices architecture and deployed on OpenShift platform. As a working student (f/m/d), you will get an insight into complex IT software projects that are implemented in the clearing environment. Your responsibilities:
- You will assist Development teams in the project
- You will support the team in various DevOps tools e.g., Jenkins, ansible, Terraform, argoCD
- You will support the team with Application monitoring tools e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Instana etc.
- You will assist in the provisioning and configuration of GCP Virtual Machines
- Furthermore, you will support in enhancing the automation of application and infrastructure deployments
- You will gain interesting insights into the Securities Clearing Application
- You will also participate and contribute to Cloud adoption to GCP for Securities Clearing application
- You will analyse and evaluate the necessary adaptions to the automation frameworks, and preparing the necessary scripts
- You will get to learn the application containerisation and its deployment in OpenShift platform
Your profile:
- You are enrolled at a state-recognized university as a regular student during the entire period of employment, with at least the second semester completed (Study focus in the field of informatics, computer science, software engineering or other relevant fields)
- You have very good analytical, conceptual & interpersonal skills, motivation
- You are familiar with Linux environment (preferably Fedora/RHEL)
- In addition, you are confidently handling MS Office applications (especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- You have a good knowledge in Cloud technologies (preferably GCP) and Automation frameworks
- You have a good knowledge on Infrastructure automation (e.g. Terraform) and any programming languages Java, Python etc
- Very Good understanding of at least one Relational Database (e.g. MySQL, PostgresSQL etc.)
- You are fluent in written and spoken English
