Field of activity
As a working student – Pricing & Market Making (f/m/d) you will support the team in the Trading & Clearing department significantly by further developing and improving internal calculation tools. Furthermore, you will help to continuously monitor and maintain strategic analyses within the dynamically changing market environment. By that, you will get an insight view into one of the largest exchange operators worldwide in an international work environment.

 

Tasks/responsibilities

  • You will contribute to the development and improvement of internal calculation tools.
  • You will support management ad-hoc inquiries based on trading volume and revenue development.
  • You will create and maintain strategic competitor and customer analyses.
  • You will gain interesting insights in preparation of decision proposals and analyses for senior management.
  • Furthermore, you will support the team by regular updates of internal reports.
     

 Qualifications/required skills

  • You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least two semesters
    (Study focus in the field of informatics, mathematics, physics, economics, business studies, humanities or other relevant fields)
  • Ideally, you have already gained first experiences with programming, data analysis and visualisation (e.g. SQL, Python, R).
  • You are interested in statistics, data analysis and modelling as well as derivative markets.
  • Thanks to your cooperative manner, you quickly find your way into the team. Your affinity for numbers and very good analytical skills help you to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics.
  • You have very good knowledge in MS Office applications.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English.
