As a Working Student in Information Security, you will support Eurex Repo’s 1st Line of Defense (1st LoD) in ensuring that our business operates in a secure and compliant manner. You will work closely with the Eurex Repo Information Security Manager, ICT Risk and Information Security colleagues and collaborate with stakeholders across Eurex Repo, the Eurex Group, and the wider Deutsche Börse Group.
Your work will contribute directly to improving our cyber resilience, maintaining security processes, and supporting day‑to‑day information security activities.
You will gain hands‑on experience with real information security processes in a leading financial market infrastructure, giving you practical skills and exposure that are highly valuable for a future career in cybersecurity or IT governance.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will support the monitoring and tracking of KPIs defined in the service definition statements
  • You will assist in preparing and updating reports for management and Information Security topics
  • You will help maintain the information classification of applications and the related documentation
  • You will help to collect, review, and structure risk assessment documents together with the Outsourcing Business Owner
  • You will support documentation and process updates within the 1st Line of Defense
  • Furthermore, you will assist with general Information Security coordination and administrative tasks

Your profile:

  • You are enrolled as a full-time student at a state-recognized university for the entire duration of the assignment and have successfully completed at least two semesters
  • You have a proactive and independent working style with strong ownership of tasks and strong attention to detail with the ability to keep information structured and organized
  • A technical background as well as an interest in or prior experience with stock exchange trading is an advantage
  • You have a curious mindset towards information security, IT processes, or governance
  • You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., basic formulas, data handling) and confident using Microsoft PowerPoint to create and edit presentations
  • Moreover, you are fluent in English, both written and spoken
