Vulnerability Management at DBG is concerned with the systematic, timely and continuous identification, prioritization, and management of vulnerabilities. While these actions reduce the risk exposure of the business caused by security vulnerabilities in IT assets and manual analysis improves the security posture regarding emergent vulnerabilities and associated risk, the primary purpose of Vulnerability Management is that of a control function.Specifically, Vulnerability Management has a control function regarding the areas of Patch Management, Configuration Management, identification of critical vulnerabilities and security aspects of software development.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • You will assist in Runing IT vulnerability and compliance service for DBAG group as part of Group Security
  • You will gain interesting insights in Cyber Security in Highly regulated Financial entities
  • Furthermore, you will support the team by gathering insights on technologies to create compliance requirements, Vulnerability analysis, chairing and hosting cross functional meeting for information gathering
  • In addition to these excited tasks, you will gain Insights in Cloud IT infrastructure Security and latest and greatest security tooling
  • You are jointly responsible for Vulnerability and Compliance Services
  • You take responsibility for Process documentation readiness and KPI reporting
  • Furthermore, you will jointly analyse/organize workshops for the two service lines EVPM and CyberWatch units
  • Your main task includes supporting HoU, SDM and Tower Leads for both units in Bau and project activities linked to various modes of identifying vulnerabilities for the group

 

Your profile:

  • You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least 2 semesters
    (Study focus in the field of informatics, mathematics, physics, economics, business studies, humanities or other relevant fields)
  • Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience in the context of IT Security (e.g. experience abroad, internships) / in the financial area.
  • You are interested in Identifying gaps in It infrastructure
  • You should have. ability to work independently, communicate with highly technical/ experienced professionals along with business professionals and teamwork skills, sense of responsibility,
  • You have very good knowledge in Excel, Powerpoint etc
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English, German is a plus
