Your area of work
As a working student (f/m/d) you will support the team CRIT IS Office in the ECAG IT/Clearing & Risk IT department significantly as 1st LoD.


Your responsibilities:

  • You will assist CRIT Information Security Office by supporting and taking over regular tasks, e.g. performing controls by analysing different data sources of different DBG IT and Information Security teams, analysing regulatory requirements, or performing gap analysis
  • You will gain interesting insights in information security in a highly regulated environment
  • You actively participate in the improvement of our processes and controls and their implementation in different tools in a collaborative team
  • Furthermore, you will support the team by automation of manual and repeating tasks
  • In addition to these exciting tasks, you will gain insights in several areas in the DBG, not only different security teams, but also IT development, IT operations, Internal and External Audits and other very interesting topics
  • You contribute to the executive board reporting of ECAG
     

Your profile:

  • You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least 3 semesters (Study focus in the field of informatics, mathematics, physics, or other relevant fields)
  • With your communication and teamwork skills, you quickly find your way into the team and communicate openly where help is needed or where you identify issues. Thanks to your ability to work independently with a big sense of responsibility, you can take over own tasks, of course supported by the team. Your creative thinking helps you to find opportunities for improvement in different processes
  • You are interested in information technology, information security, regulations as well as process and control design, implementation, and improvement (e.g., by automation)
  • You have very good knowledge in MS Office and good knowledge in SharePoint, at least one programming language; knowledge in JIRA would be a benefit
  • Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience in the context of Information Security (e.g., experience abroad, internships) in a regulatory environment
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English, German is an advantage
