Working Student - Business Acceptance Testing, Test Automation & AI (f/m/d)

Your area of work
As a Working Student (f/m/d) in the Business Acceptance Unit, you will support testing activities across Eurex Clearing applications. You will assist in developing and executing test cases, building automated tests, and exploring innovative approaches using Generative AI, Agentic AI, Databricks, and Machine Learning to boost testing efficiency.
This role is ideal for students who want hands on experience at the intersection of testing, data engineering, and applied AI

Your responsibilities:

• Testing & Quality Assurance: You will support the creation and execution of manual and automated test cases based on specifications and user stories. Additionally, you will help prepare Gherkin-based Feature Files and maintain regression suites. Part of your tasks will be the documentation of test results, tracking of defects, and assisting with retesting
• Test Automation: You will develop automation scripts using PyTest, Robot Framework, and Playwright and support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub / Jenkins). Furthermore, you will work with Python-based validation tools for data and reporting checks
• AI & Data Innovation: You will contribute to prototypes using Generative AI / Agentic AI for test case generation, requirement summarization, and automated documentation. You will assist in data validation and analytics tasks using SQL, Databricks, PySpark, or notebooks. You will support ML-based or rule-based approaches for anomaly detection and data quality checks
  
  

Your profile:

• You are enrolled at a state-recognized university for the entire duration of your employment and have completed at least your second semester. Ideally your field of study  is in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, Finance, or similar
• You show good knowledge of Python; interest in automation frameworks (Pytest, Robot Framework, Playwright)
• You have fundamental knowledge of AI, LLMs, and modern data platforms (Databricks, HDFS)
• Additionally, you have familiarity with SQL or data concepts is beneficial
• You have strong analytical skills, structured working style, and attention to detail
• You have very good command of English; German is an advantage
