Your area of work
Within the Global Products & Markets division, the Analytics & Pricing Section is responsible for delivering in-depth analyses to senior management to identify key business drivers and growth opportunities, while continuously monitoring market developments and industry trends. The team’s scope also includes the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of pricing models and strategic incentive schemes for both existing and new products and services.
Operating as a central business intelligence function, Analytics & Pricing works in close collaboration with senior management, product and market organizations, clients, and regulatory authorities. The team’s objective is to generate deep insights into business performance, optimize revenue generation through targeted pricing measures, and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies.
Within this framework, the Pricing Unit develops and manages fee and incentive structures to support revenue growth and market development across multiple asset classes and services at Eurex Frankfurt, Eurex Clearing, and Eurex Repo.
Your responsibilities:
- You will actively contribute to the development and continuous enhancement of calculation and analytics tools to support internal processes
- You will prepare, update, and refine reports and presentations in line with evolving business requirements and to support strategic decision-making
- You will deliver data-driven analyses of trading volumes and revenue developments in response to short-term management requests
- You will create and maintain competitor and customer analyses to derive actionable strategic recommendations
- You will develop a strong understanding of derivatives trading and produce statistical analyses using multiple data sources, including maintenance requests submitted via email and customer communications
Your profile:
- You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least 2 semesters. Your study focuses on the field of economics, finance, business studies or other relevant fields
- You are interested in Financial and Capital Markets with a special focus on trading and clearing. Your affinity for numbers and very good analytical skills help you to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics
- You have very good knowledge in MS Office applications (especially MS Excel)
- Thanks to your cooperative manner, you quickly find your way into the team
- You are fluent in written and spoken English
