Being a student assistant for the Deutsche Börse Group you will the excellent opportunity to explore capital market dynamics and to gain valuable practical experience in an innovative company.

The Department Information Security is the Group wide service provider for the globally active DBG’s product organizations and the 2nd Line of Defence.  The department is responsible to protect information assets in terms of safety, integrity, confidentiality, authenticity and availability. Information Security risk management’s tasks and procedures are based on the requirements published as the ISO 27000-standard-series (information security management systems) and is using top of the art cyber defence technology.

In the Information Security Department you will be an active part of the various processes of the Team. You will mainly support all administrative tasks within the Department and serve as a key interface to all colleagues. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to independently organize workshops and support the on-boarding process of new team members. Due to close involvement within the continuous improvement processes as well as within various change projects, you will have the opportunity to also collect some experience in project management, contract management, administration and Cyber Security. There are waiting a lot of exciting, diverse, and especially demanding tasks as well as a highly motivated team.



  • Organization and processing of various administrative and organizational tasks
  • Development and drafting information and decision documents for the Division management and various other boards & committees
  • Support within the continuous improvement process and development of creative and constructive solution approaches
  • Maintenance of Information Security tools and databases
  • Consolidation and tracking of issue-lists
  • Project support and various supportive tasks for the project managers (PMO)
  • Maintenance and follow-up on project- and milestone plans



Qualifications/required skills

  • Students must be enrolled in an academic program recognized by the state during their working period
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English – German knowledge of advantage
  • Very good experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel – VBA knowledge of advantage
  • Excellent analytical skills and a structured work organization, and confident handling of figures
  • High organizational talent, communication capabilities and team orientation
  • Good process-analytics while developing well-structured problem solving options and process overviews
  • Independent work method and high self-responsibility & ownership
  • First practical work experience via internships or part-time/ student jobs, experiences abroad, and active social service engagements will be a benefit
