Field of activity

As a working student in Group Regulatory Strategy, you will have the opportunity to observe the worlds of politics and finance, and gather valuable experience in an innovative company. The department monitors changes in the regulatory and political environment and their effect on Deutsche Börse Group. Group Regulatory Strategy is responsible for positioning the company with regulators and political stakeholders, informing the management of the Group about ongoing regulatory initiatives, and representing the political interests of the Deutsche Börse Group nationally and internationally. As a working student, you will face interesting and challenging tasks and thus become an integral part of the department.



  • Preparing briefings, background papers, and presentations
  • Conducting analysis on financial and political topics
  • Assisting the work of management and regulatory committees within the company
  • Attending events aimed at representatives of the financial service industry in Frankfurt


Qualifications/required skills

  • Enrolled as a student in an academic programme recognised by the state for the duration of the contract
  • Have completed at least the first two semesters of your undergraduate studies (preference will be given to applicants majoring in economics or political science)
  • Previous knowledge of the institutional set-up and legislative processes in Germany and Europe and strong interest in political affairs
  • Fluent in German and in English, as well as good command of MS-Office tools
  • Very good analytical and research skills
