Would you like to work closely with Controllers, Senior Accountants and Human Resources on all aspects of staff accounting and financial reporting? Do you like to analyse staff costs and FTE data in order to generate relevant insights? Then join our young HR-Controlling team, which is responsible for more than € 700 m staff cost and 5,500 FTE. As a successful candidate, you will take on “End-to-End” responsibility for staff accounting tasks like, bonus and pensions, which ranges from monthly closing tasks, budget support and forecast driven steering.

Staff accounting for bonus, pensions, other personal related costs in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS

  • Closing related tasks, e.g. set up of provisions and accruals
  • Complete and correct costs
  • Account reconciliations
  • Variance analysis
  • Contact for the auditors

Staff controlling

  • Distinction of regular vs one-off costs
  • Support other team members in position management (maintain position plan, budget checks for staff measures based on total staff cost view)
  • Support line managers in managing their budget (yearly budget creation, shifts, continuous forecast)
  • Prediction based forecasting, interpretation and annotation of results, request/trigger counter measures and Ad-hoc analysis


Qualifications/required skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting / finance or related
  • ~5 years of professional experience in general ledger accounting
  • Proficient in SAP ERP, good knowledge of Excel
  • Self-motivated, committed and goal oriented
  • Analytical competence, focus on detail
  • Advanced level of English and German
